Copeland Aligns its Family of Brands for the Future
As a critical milestone in our journey as a standalone company, Copeland is excited to unveil a more unified portfolio that includes the most trusted brands and products in the residential, commercial, cold chain and industrial HVACR sectors. The Copeland brand has been synonymous with reliable, high-performing HVACR technology for over a century. As Copeland embarks on the next 100 years, we are more committed than ever to delivering innovative, sustainable climate solutions that improve lives and protect the planet — today and for future generations.

Our brand transition reflects vision of delivering a more consolidated solution portfolio that meets evolving customer needs and makes navigating our vast product offerings easier. As we unite everything from compression, HVACR controls and services under the Copeland banner, we will continue to invest in product brands that deliver value in key market segments like heating and cooling. These efforts will provide customers with a more consistent brand experience while reinforcing Copeland’s core values of sustainability, reliability and innovation.
As many of you know, the Copeland brand has historically represented our comprehensive line-up of compressors, variable-speed drives and condensing units. However, in 2023, with the transition to a new, standalone company, Copeland expanded its family of brands to include those previously offered under various brand names.
The following trusted brands will retain their existing name, while reinforcing their connection to Copeland under the new brand identity:
- Sensi – Smart thermostats that enable demand-response capabilities and energy savings in residential and light commercial buildings
- Verdant – Energy management solutions designed to reduce energy consumption in the hospitality and multi-dwelling unit markets
- Vilter – Industrial and commercial compression and controls, specialized for refrigeration, cold storage, heat pump and renewable natural gas (RNG) applications
- White-Rodgers – Traditional thermostats, universal heating controls and gas valves for enhanced comfort and efficiency in residential and commercial spaces
- Cooper-Atkins – Temperature and environmental measurement devices, compliance solutions and wireless monitoring systems for the foodservice and industrial markets
Our expanded portfolio of brands also integrates a comprehensive suite of products and solutions — previously offered under various brand names — into the Copeland brand family. These include the following controls, enterprise management software and services, leak detection, cargo monitoring, transport solutions and other system components.
- Dixell electronics
- Emerson and Alco flow controls, valves and system components
- Emerson rack system facility controls and case controllers
- Emerson leak detection
- Emerson cargo monitoring solutions
- ProAct services and software
- ProAct Transport
New product labeling and packaging will support this Copeland brand evolution and ensure a seamless, visually consistent experience across the portfolio. Please be aware that we are only updating the branding; the products remain the same and their availability will not change.
The process of a consistent brand across all touchpoints.
