Setting the Stage for Adoption of A2L Refrigerants in Commercial Refrigeration

On the journey to low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigeration, A2L refrigerants are poised to play much larger roles in the U.S. commercial refrigeration sector. With ratings below 300 and 150 GWP, A2L refrigerants bring a much-needed combination of high performance and lower GWP across of broad range of equipment classifications. From original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to retail end users, stakeholders throughout the supply chain are evaluating the potential of A2L refrigerants for their future refrigeration portfolios.
